Florida 32, Wyoming 14

Well, it's a win. And it was Urban Meyer's first game, so there's obviously a learning curve with a new system. But that doesn't include special teams, which seemed to be almost non-existent last night.

* 2 missed extra points
* 23 punt return yards (on 7 attempts)
* gave up kick return of 66 yards (but did make one of 47 yards)
* no touchbacks (actually one that was cheating - out of bounds just inside the goal line)
* two kickoffs that barely made it to the endzone

Special teams are very important, and these will need to get better quickly, with SEC play starting in two weeks with Tennessee.

One interesting historical note: Leak completed 17 consecutive passes between the first and third quarters, breaking Spurrier's mark set in 1966. Spurrier hit 16 in a row at Florida State on Oct. 8, 1966, then matched his mark the following week at North Carolina State.
